Alexios, born in ancient Sparta, is a key protagonist in Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Born to King Leonidas I's daughter, Myrrine, and Pythagoras, he is raised within a Spartan military culture.
Early in life, a traumatic event forces Alexios into exile, separating him from his family. This event sets him on a path as a mercenary, known as a Misthios, traveling across ancient Greece and taking on contracts for various clients.
Throughout his journey, Alexios grapples with his lineage and the mysteries surrounding a powerful First Civilization artifact: the Spear of Leonidas. He encounters historical figures and becomes embroiled in the Peloponnesian War.
Depending on player choices, Alexios's actions determine the fate of his family, the future of Greece, and his own place within the hidden conflict between the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order. He can embrace Spartan ideals, forge his own moral code, or succumb to the corrupting influence of power.
